Hi everyone,

i think the morphine has ruined my brain :rolleyes:

Im putting: http://reaperwebdesign.deviantart.com/art/...ixels-118183377 together and am trying to work out how to do that White frilly background as well as the pink one.

Am i better off putting the white as a background to the header, or can i put both of them as a background (no repeat) to the entire body.

Reaper

add 1 to body and one to html tag m8

body {

background-image:xxx

}

html {

background-image:xxxx

}

maybe its not a nice but workin perfect :]

The usual way to achieve that would be to repeat the pink background on your body tag. Then, set the header background to the white frilly thing and set it to repeat-x.

body {
background: url('images/pink_bg.png');
}

#header {
background: url('images/header_bg.png') top left repeat-x;
}

Remember that you will have to make your header background (the frilly one) with a transparent background to let the pink background show through. You can either use png or gif to achieve this although you should be aware of compatibility issues regarding IE when using png.

Regards,

Dan

if you come across alpha transparency issues with IE just google png fix.
