April 1, 200917 yr I've got a shopping cart that uses $_POST but every time a refresh happens or the back button is used, a prompt to confirm the action keeps happening and/or multiple adds are made to the cart. Does anyone know how to prevent this or a different way of doing it that is accessible?
April 2, 200917 yr Interesting articles ElanMan but surely it would be easier to just use header("Location: xxxx.php"); and direct the user to a thank you page? This destroys the POST data and removes the refresh problem entirely. See www.php.net/header
