March 16, 200917 yr I'm hoping you guys/gals don't think this is a stupid question. OK on the Twitter SMS update service it says "Standard rates apply", which I assume you will be charged the cost of 1 text message every time you receive on. However as part of my phone contract I get unlimited free texts, I was just wondering if that means it would be free for me. Oh, and I don't really want to try it in case I do get charged, I was just wondering if anyone else uses it and could let me know. Thank you
March 17, 200917 yr Since they don't have an asterisk and a little * 59.99 per free ring tone kind of message at the bottom I'd say free for you (if you have unlimited). I have the same thing, so I hope I don't get charged!
March 17, 200917 yr Author Cool, I shall set my phone up for it. I can always cancel it if I get charged.
March 18, 200917 yr Well turns out it wouldn't even accept my number (even with country code.) I'm probably doing something wrong.
