March 8, 200917 yr Hello, I'm a high school junior and I just started to learn Dreamweaver CS 3 this year. I am entering a website into a high school competition this month and I'd appreciate your feedback. It's a website about research done on a river chain. I am being supplied the text and photos, and I'm putting the website together. The website's temporary home is http://nauticom.net/users/mheilman/namekagon/ - What do you think of it? All of the links work, the information is just not put up on all of the pages yet. If you have any ideas for improvement I'd be happy to hear them!
March 8, 200917 yr You've done very well for a first time, (better than my first time) Although i do have a point to pick with your source. Find out if your maked on markup comments. Because for example, if you were to put this live and sell it to someone, they wouldnt want to find this in the code. <!-- InstanceBegin template="/Templates/default.dwt" codeOutsideHTMLIsLocked="false" --> Although it might help you know where to edit and place divs ect, it might be a problem when they come to mark it. Although for my web project at college we had to show the markup, so i recommend finding out before you do anything. Nice Nav, I really like that.
March 8, 200917 yr Hey Excellent - way better than my first too I would maybe consider spacing out your text / lettering more and possibly a different green instead? Love the header image. All the best in the competition!
March 9, 200917 yr A really good website, expecially for your first website. Some ideas you could change: The 2nd Level Navigation should be on the same height as the parent and a little bit more to the right. An as allready mention you could think about taking a darker green. Good luck in the competiton.
