March 4, 200917 yr Hi! I just signed up for these forums. I have been designing sites as a hobby for a few years now wanting to make more of it and get paid work but never found the time. then I decided to give up what I was doing and take a job that was more in the IT area (not web design, Telecoms actually!!!??1 closer than what I was doing before) and convinced them to get me on a course to fill out gaps in my self taught knowledge and take me to a more advanced level so that eventually I can help the company build up there web resources and I benefit from it too! So I am currently taking the CIW web design mangers course . Would love to hear if any one has heard of this course as I am aware it is a bit obscure! however I'm hopping to take what information I can from it and supplement the course with my own study's online and trying new stuff out. Sorry rambling a bit but look forward to picking brains and helping where I can be helpful!! Essentially what I'm trying to say is....hi!
