They probably mean it has a CMS on it which means it would be very unwise to edit the site in DW.

They should give you full instructions on how to update it.

thanks for that - why would it be so bad to edit if we were just to alter text and title tags..?

From the source code:

<meta name="generator" content="http://Psand.Net - ChangingPages Enterprise Platform Alfa Romeo Dealer On-Line Network." />

Looks like a custom CMS commissioned by the Alfa group for all its franchises etc. terydinho's right - you need to talk to Alfa, and they'll probably insist on doing any updates for you.

It would be bad because by editing a code generated by PHP, you would destroy the layout of the site and basically cause the whole thing to break. As Ziggy said, Alfa will probably want to do the updates for you.

Why not ziggy? ZigPress is your formal name - we're mates now... so Ziggy it is ;):lol:

Andy will do fine...

I don't want to breach David Bowie's copyright :D

:lol: fair play andy - but you'll always be ziggy to me ;)
