i'm trying to make something that looks like the attached file. i'm using buttons as the navigation for a site and i like this style, well just the top half i guess. i would like to be able to change the color as i see fit as well. it looks like it could be quickly done, i was wondering if you could shoot me a quick tutorial to make it happen. i would really appreciate it. thanks a lot.

open the image in photoshop.

 

CTRL+U, select colorise, and there you go. Simplest way to do it.

 

If you don't have photoshop, look for a hue/saturation option.
