Hi All!

 

I work on a mac and im a bit tired of booting my old pc laptop (which takes about 15min to load!!) to test websites on the pc!

 

Im currently downloading bootcamp for mac, has anyone used this yet? it still in is beta stage thou?

 

I know you can get virtual pc, but im looking for a FREE ware app!

 

Your thoughts are greatly appreciated!

I'm not sure about freeware, but I have used Parallels Virtual PC for Mac and it works really well, the link is: http://www.parallels.com/ and it's the best I have used.

 

I didn't find it slow at all, as inevitably your powering 2 Operating Systems on 1 machine. But I could run simultaneous CS2 products on Windows and Mac fine.

 

You can download a trial and test it yourself.

Personaly I'd be a bit iffy about using a commercial sim let along a freeware one. I think evan the commercial VPC has problems producing a stable OS sim(yes I've used it) . so in my opinion I'd just clean house with your laptop reformat it and get it working at a respectable pace again and use that to test pages/sites out.

 

I'm no dev pro but thats just the way I'd go about the situation.
