I don't know any javascript so can't help you solve the problem with the onmouseout onmouseover stuff.

But that can be easily achieved in CSS.

You would add this to the <head></head> section

<style type="text/css">

#but1{

display: block;

width: 257px;

height:206px;

background-image: url("images/hOME_02.jpg");

}

#but1:hover{

display: block;

width: 257px;

height:206px;

background-image: url("images/homeon_02.jpg");

}

</style>

This would be for your first button

and in html,instead of what you're using now you'd just use

<td height="206" width="257">

<a id="but1"></a>

</td>

By the way,stop using different casing letters in file names.You used hOME_02.jpg and took me a few minutes to realise why my code wasn't working on your site(checked "live" in firebug);It's not a good practice.

Also homeon_02.jpg doesn't exist at all...
