January 23, 200917 yr I've been working for this company for some time with marketing and their website. Using Dreamweaver, I've really updated and changed a lot of things regarding appearance, but probably the biggest change is both the background and the horizontal spry bar for extensive navigation. Ironically, it's those two components that have been giving me trouble lately, lol. With the Spry Navigation bar, everything works perfect in Firefox, but in IE, the drop down boxes tend to go behind the flashes that play when the page loads instead of on top so you can see and easily the click the links. Another issue is with the background: Depending on the screen resolution of the monitor determines the way the background appears. I photoshopped a nice image of the ocean with a fade effect going into the middle so it flatters the boxes and layout of the website. The problem is that with the display settings, it determines the appearance and so on some computers people have told me they can only see one side of the ocean, etc. Here is the link to my website: http://www.wb-3d.com And I've also added the two files if anyone would like to see the coding. If anyone could help me, that would be so great; they're minor issues, but I have so much work already and have desperately tried many solutions and they simple aren't working. :/ Thanks a lot and in advance. forum_help.zip
January 24, 200917 yr hi there, your background image problem is because it's assigned to the <body>. and so the image is repeated a different number of times depending on your browser width. you should be able to solve it by putting a wrapper/container round everything equal to the width you want the image to be seen at (i.e. if it looks best at 1200px use this width), center the div then put the background image on the wrapper. you might also need to add overflow: hidden to the wrapper depending on its width. your navigation seems to be working ok on IE7.

Oh wow! I didn't know I could do that and set the width. How exactly would I center the DIV and wrap it? Is there any chance you could post or attach the coding? Thanks in advance.

Thanks in advance. hi mate, you don't wrap the wrapper - it wraps everything else... HTML: <div id="wrapper"> <all other html> </div> CSS: #wrapper {width: 1200px; margin: 0 auto; }
