I came across this, whilst finding out what colour schemes do not work online. It's actually titled Forbidden colour Combinations...says it all really.

 

I thought you would find it quite useful when choosing a colour scheme, funny thing is I actually quite like some of the "Forbidden" combinations...not sure what that says about my tastes.

From the look of it the whole point is to show that some colours that you get told in design should not never be used together, can work well when the right shades are used with each other. I don't think that it says anything for your taste at all...and really just shows that some rules should be thrown out the window when it comes to colour. So if you like some of them then the point of that page works, as it is proving that red and green can be seen

 

 

Then again colour is just a matter of taste.
