January 17, 200917 yr I began creating this website a while back using moonfruit.com but haven't had time to do anything on it for about 4 months after going back to college! I was just wondering if you guys could give me feedback on the good points and bad points of what I've done so far. I planned to pay to remove all the ads on the website and get a .co.uk domain name but I'm really struggling to get people to go to the site or to write reviews for it! Any advice? http://www.udothereview.moonfruit.com/ Thanks Dan
January 17, 200917 yr In theory it is a nice idea - I am a big fan of the black background for these type of sites. The site on the whole looks ok, you probably need a new Logo and once you get rid of the moonfruit side of things it might run a little better. How did you code it? From a business point of view I have to say that it wouldn't be a good move; you just have to look at the calibre of site you are up against... GameFaqs, ING, Gamespot, GameRankings - they are all very big, well established brands and get a lot of traffic and advertising. It would be like me creating a Fizzy Cola brand and trying to compete with Coke. If I were you I would ditch it before it has cost you any money and put it down to time well spent on the learning curve. Nice site and well structured. Design elements could come up a notch but that is all down to experience. Good effort mate
