January 10, 200917 yr Hi, I have a problem with using sIFR. I have a page that has a h1 and p elements using sIFR. On a mac in FF, Safari, Opera and Flock the text that should change, renders how it should and looks as intended. But if you view the page on a pc on FF or IE the text again renders to how it should but it looks as if it is highlighted with a slightly lighter colour than the background, rather than blending with the background. Does anybody else have this problem and how can it be fixed? Thanks
January 10, 200917 yr do you have a link or any code to show? what styling have you applied in sifr-config? ... also bare in mine sifr isn't designed for <p> elements so you might find yourself running into some trouble there anyhow.
January 10, 200917 yr Author I followed a vid tutorial from css-tricks which relates to http://designintellection.com/2008/this-is...t-sifr-to-work/. So the code is the same as the examples bar the font. As mentioned in the original post, it all works and looks as it should on a Mac in safari, firefox, opera and flock BUT view the site on a PC in firefox and or IE7 and it does this highlight thing. Here is my site with the sIFR http://damianherrington.net76.net/bar&grill/index.html - just something to bear in mind, it will look at little different on a mac to a pc, going through a code re-structure, so there is some arrangement discrepancies. Cheers
