Dynamic Navigation in Joomla

Featured Replies

Seasons greetings all,

I wonder if some Joomla guru out there may be able to help me. I am finally getting to grips with Joomla at long last, however I was wondering if there was a way to have a menu dynamically change links. I think this may need an example!

Say I am on a page called;

index.php/page1

and I have a navigation menu which looks something like;

Link 1

Link 2

Link 3

Is there a way for the above link to point at;

index.php/page1/link1

And like wise if I use the same menu on another page. E.g.

index.php/page2

And the links would point to;

index.php/page2/link1

Sorry, if I am not making much sense, hopefully someone out there will know what I am trying to achieve.

Thanks in advanced, and a very Merry Christmas to all!
