OS – Vista Home Premium (SP1)

 

I’ve been using Fireworks for months, no probs.

Today for some strange reason it will not load.

 

I’ve tried;

Full shut-down & reboot

D/clicking on the desktop icon

D/clicking on, Start/All programmes/Adobe Suite/Fireworks

D/clicking on, C:/Programmes/Adobe Suite/Fireworks

 

It just will not load – no error messages, just nothing.

 

All the other applications work fine, including all the Adobe ones.

I also have Fw on my laptop – it works fine on there!

 

Please help!

I know this will sound odd, but have you recently created a new site in dreamweaver.

Tried uninstalling/reinstalling the app? It's quite likely to fix the issue.

1. Uninstall Fireworks.

2. Clean the Registry with a good Reg cleaner.

3. Reinstall Fireworks.

Could try a system restore to a couple of weeks ago, or the advice given above which would be a little cleaner.
