December 19, 200817 yr yeah i think its different and i like it! i like the green woven fabric and the range of greens in the fabric, it goes really well with the black. i'm not too sure about the writting with the black background over the fabric though, same with the welcome header. and i exeriment with other fonts for legiblity if it was me.

Hi BrownWarrior, Thanks for your reply. I will experiment with the writing font and background color. I thought to keep the black background on the text to make the text easier to read as text on the fabric background is rather diffficult to read. Any tips around this obstacle will be most appreciated. I'll have a play around with the font and experiment with the background color for the text when i get home. Kind Regards, Ren
December 19, 200817 yr Hi You have come on a ton already. If we didn’t experiment and make mistakes we would never learn a thing. Everything is clear, readable and neat. Attitude is everything and encouragement is the way forward.

December 19, 200817 yr I like! Agree totally with BW on the text tho. Somehow it breaks up the look you've created with the woven fabric. It is really orignal..well done!

Hi Guezala, Thank you for your feedback, I'm glad to hear that you're liking the look of the site so far, I'm yet to take another screenshot of my finished homepage, once I have I will post here again and let you all know you can all get a small update with the layout. What do you mean when you said "BW on the text tho. Somehow it breaks up the look you've created with the woven fabric." I hope to hear from you again. Regards, Ren
December 21, 200817 yr Hey Basically it cuts up what i think is really nice pattern and the way it's cut out of the 'fabric' isn't really in keeping with the woven theme. The chunks where the text is is just too smooth for it. I'm not entirely sure how you could incorperate the text in better..the first thing i thought was some form of stitching effect with the writing? The others prob would have a better idea of something that works. Sorry about being vague..good luck!

Ahhhh okay, I understand what you mean, I'll look into more ways I can integrate the text with the woven background, I'll try some stitch text tutorials (more like find some) and see how that pans out. You can view a more updated screen shot of my homepage here. I'd like to hear from you (and everyone else). Many Thanks, Ren
