Me and my friend are looking to get some of the above in our site, what is the best one to use and the simplest to intergrate with just the java being called and a little rel in the link to get it working?

 

We want to be able to open all type of web formats mainly html or php atm nothing more.

flv,mpg

and picture formats

 

sorry if im confusing, it jsut confuses me with all the files etc.

Shadowbox is my favourite or prettyPhoto, but that is just because I like JQuery and these work with that

 

Shadow box is probably this best one to use in terms of using it for different things, but then again it just depends as I think that lighbox clones are just down to personal likes, needs and wants from a popup

Shadowbox can be a pain to implement, but once you have done it once it is easy. Prettyphoto is really easy to implement the only thing is I don't remember what you can and can't do with it.

I don't understand the language, it just doesn't make sense to me.

I've read books on it and i just get lost straight away, suppose just take time but me no likey.

I don't know javascript but I know how to implement it and use it in my sites. its light and I don't think you can get far without it these days.

 

mootools is great for them web 2.0 fx what every client seems to want.

 

Don't learn it, just use it

i know it can be easy to implement but the one i found there are so many files and he doesnt explain it steph by step just say put this there and thats it -.- dont work lol im still searching,
