I have Illustrator Cs3. When I go to 'save as', and click save, I get the message "An unknown error has occurred".. If I go to "save for web" it crashes.

 

I've looked up online guides, reinstalled illustrator and what not... Still no result!

Neither seemed to solve the problem. I can save SVG files! Anything else returns an "unknown error".. I think I'll just install it on my laptop and hope it works there.

Yes sometimes Illustrator is that crazy,

How about trying this.. Copy everything, paste in a new file and save...

It's not a direct solution bit it's a work around.
