Hello,

after setteling on a logo it was time to move on to the rest of the website.

only still in the photoshop phase. Thought i'd get your opinion while it's still easy to make adjustments

Thanks :)

Edit: For those of you who are wondering. the jibberish is dutch ;)

Hi,

looks great. Love the huge white space header. Even better is the way the gradient fades out to white at the edges of the page just as your eye hits the three boxes at the bottom of the page. Leads your eye in nicely and allows it to rest. Very relaxed and professional-looking.

The 'Villa' part of the logo is too close to 'Prijzen' in the menu.

Logo in the centre makes it look epic!

Hello,

The design looks good and choice of colors suits the site well. There's just a big white space in the logo area where you might want to adjust. Maybe bring up the nav area and put the logo underneath reinforce with the contact info and a tagline which says something about the villa. You might want to try having a wide banner to bring out the ambience of the place. Sort of make the target audience appreciate the look and feel of the place.

Thanks.

Absolutely love it, great warm happy colours! I think the logo looks a bit disjointed up there on its own. Logo looks good though!

wonderfull design, cannot rearly give much feedback till livelink is provided but from i see its rearly nice

The header is ok. You are doing a T shaped layout...I would consider making a footer similar to the header, with white space below the footer red bar, to make it an I shaped layout. I think it might add a bit of balance. Not sure what you could put in there (usually useful nav links), but I think it will make it feel more complete. Does anyone else notice this with T shaped vs I shaped layouts? Other than that, it's looking great!

EDIT: Never mind, I looked at it again and it's fine. LOL..

Yes, 'I' layouts offer more balance, but only if the footer is above-the-fold or within a page-length of the header. If the page is too long, the user isn't going to remember the visual relation.

I reckon what you said is right though, the footer does need to match the header.

Logo too close to the nav. menu.

Give it a 10px gutter.

Wow, thanks for all the feedback :)

I see what you mean with the header. I've been struggling to make it work.

I agree that there might be an acces of white space but when i try to offset the logo to make room for a slogan or imagery it starts to look chaotic really fast. Gues it has something to do with the logo having a lot of lines etc.

Will try to move some things arround see if can make it a bit better. Any suggestions on this would be appriciated :)

Hello ppl,

Did some more work on my layout. After looking at my website couple of days i decided that the website needs to focus more on the beautifull images of the landscape over there, because thats what this website is goin to sell. So i came up with this.

What do you guys think. Do you like it better or worse and why. :)

Much better with the horizontal banner. Gives me an idea of the place and its ambience. Generally, the design looks okay to me with its pastel orange shade. Nice work. Thanks.

Nice design.

The 2nd is better. Only suggestion is to add a image in the 2nd box HUIZEN. IMO, looks a little out of place considering the other three have images.
