Can any one knows the technique for doing a single div in 100% height and 100% width, when I am going to re size window it would starch and squeeze with window size like desktop application compatible to all browser.

 

I have 3 div header middle content and footer and want to whole layout should be flexible in height and width.

the <body> element already behaves in the way you want. I'm guessing you want the 3 divs to remain centred? If so, do this:

 

html:

 

<body>

<div id="container"><!-- this is the new div -->

...three existing divs go here...

</div>

</body>

 

css:

 

body {text-align:center;}

 

#container {margin:0 auto;width:750px;text-align:left;}

 

to make the container div fluid, change it's width value to something like 80%
