CSS help with spreading a line of links

First post here,

 

What I would like to do is spread the links from left to right, so they are equally spaced. E.g. the home

link would be near the left border and promotions would be near the right border, with all the other links

equally spaced with borders. Much they are like now, though expanded across the what would be the 'border-bottom'

of the id=header

 

This is where I'm stuck and seeking help

Why don't you just make each link 19% which will leave a few percent over for borders, but will space the tabs across the page.
