November 16, 200817 yr Hi Guys, I'm not sure if anyone can help me but I am trying to make some files on a usb stick protected. In other words I want the files to be readable but immovable. Does anyone know how I go about this? Thanx, Jay

The easiest way to password protect files on a non-password protected flash drive is to zip them up into a zip folder and use winzip to password protect the contents. But this means the files won't even be readabale without a password.
