Best way to display data?

Featured Replies

Hi folks,

I have a big table with lots of rows and cells, you have to scroll down the page quite alot to view all the data, can anyone think of the best way to display this?

I've tried using CSS to hide/show relevant information when the appropriate header is clicked, but its still to big to view really.

Any ideas folks?

Thanks

I suppose it depends on what sort of data you are trying to display as to whether there is a better way..

could you supply a bit more info please

Thanks for your reply.

Its a big table 8 columns by about 10 rows.

with paragraphs of text and lists in certain cells. Its just a bit of a mess really and the cells appear squashed in the width of the page.

would you happen to have it online somewhere or be able to post it

it just depends on the amount of the text etc as to what we may be able to work out
