Images loading with red cross

Featured Replies

Hi Guys,

I am creating an advanced menu for a client.

It works beautifully in firefox and IE7 etc. It also works rather well in IE6 except for one issue.

Basically, when you hover over an icon, a transparent PNG (i'm using a png fix that is working) comes from right:999em; and moves to right:0;

The image moves fine and into place perfectly. However, while the image is showing it is also showing the red cross as if it isn't loaded. I've not seen this before. I'd understand if it was just the red cross but to show the image and a red cross is utter madness.

Please help!

Got a working example?

Or some code?

Are you using any javascript to animate/move the image?

Why don't you just you :hover?

There is javascript to allow a hover function in IE6 otherwise that is impossible, but no javascript on the animation.
