search in column keywords

Hey Guys,

I have a column in my database called keywords - how would be the best way to implement this for a search in PHP.

Is it a specifc Mysql query? please advise. At the moment i have -

select * from aircon_products where keywords LIKE '%$search_word%'

search word is obviously the form.

But the problem is it doesnt really work. I want it to return the correct information when it checks all the other collums. For example if the user searchs - polo, then it looks across that row and returns volkswagon, petrol, reg number etc.
