I have been working on a website layout for a few days now and wanted to know what you're opinions are, please hand out any suggestions if you feel it is needed.

Yes I have! Its just deciding where to inject the colour into the page.

I like the fact that you have increased the line spacing in the first paragraph of text, as this helps increase readability of light text on a dark background. I would recommend doing this for the following paragraphs and make them consistent against each other.

Maybe one of your flowers or your name.
