Hi happy new year , I am studying css and other web languages and am looking for someone to exchange notes with or collaborate with on a project for website .I have about 6 months experience if anyone is interested this will be a good way of increasing our skills, I am also proficient in photoshop . we can create images, layout in css and html - and come up with a new exciting design . I can send you some of my images and designs if you show interest . Thankyou for your time
  2. hi , happy new year , I spend 2-4 hours a day studying and building websites I was wandering how long it took for you to learn each part of the design like css then xhtml and xml it took me a month to get the hang of css and not being in a class I need a way of monitoring my progress there must be a point when it all clicks / how do you manage your time ?   5. hi - I am currently studying css . I need to know the best way to study I have taken apart templates and am looking at the tutorial at W3c schools which help can you recommend any other wyas of learning(tutorials/books/articles) that are simple and easy to understand? also I was wondering how do most of you work with css do you know each selector and elect / tag or do you use pre formulated code -do you need to learn it like a language or just know how it works and use code from books and websites Please enlighten me cheers
  6. hi eveyone , I've been studying web design for about 6 months now, getting there slowly . At the moment Im covering photoshop, html, css and other technologies like xml and java script. The basics I know, but a grounding in these is better than learning on Dreamweaver. All and any help and advice is welcome . I have done a traing course (Certification )which wasn't much help though expensive so lesson learnt there. Any way now Im foucsing on building a portfolio and learning as much as I can . A few questions - how do you progress steadily I find doing tutorials helps but isnt easy as your on your own ,templates help and yet from the basics to a css template seems a large task basically how do you motivate yourself from day to day and how do you get good at this stuff. thanks sincerley Future perfect
