  2. Hi! I am relatively new to the website designing, and just finished designing my first website. The next step is to optimize it for SEO, so that its actually found on the internet. Now i have been reading a lot about seo, and how you should use keywordt in your text, metadata, internal links etc etc. But it appeard to me that external links are one of the best way to get your SEO to the top!? Okay, if thats true, i thought, why dont i go on all the forums that are out there (like this one), and make up a story around the product is sell. For example, lets say i design switch panels on my website www.CustomSwitchPanels.com, (this is actually my website i designed. Check it out, its real cool :), or not) and i turn to all the electric forums out there, and the car forums, boat forums, all the forums where they might use a custom switch panel. And i post a topic with the question: "i need a new switch panel, i found this site: www.customswitchpanels.com does anyone has experience with thi company?" Now the other member will click the site to see what its all about, and i have earned my SEO points for the day. It doesnt seem a very fair way to me, but it does sound effective, but im not sure if this is how it works. Sorry for using my own website as external link, im not trying to get SEO out of this, it is a legitimate question. But if you clicked the link, feel free to let me know what you think. Im always open for feedback
