  1. Hello all, I'm 26. It has been my dream since I left school to work in web design, and so I feel incredibly unfulfilled in life as I'm not doing what I feel I am meant to be doing. I thought I had to go to university to learn and subsequently work as a designer, but I've read several inspiring stories lately about self-taught individuals and it's given me the drive to learn in my spare time. I need some thorough direction, I have set up an account on Codecademy and I am starting with the basics, HTML, CSS, JavaScript. But what languages should I be looking at after this? And what should I be doing alongside this? For example, is there any software I should get to know? What software do you use in your workflow? I wonder if it would be helpful for me to hear what your workflow is when you are building a website from scratch (if anyone is willing to share?) I’ve come across several courses on Wordpress, in what circumstances would you use Wordpress for a job? Any other advice? I am totally new to this, and really appreciate any advice! Thanks in advance.
