  1. Hi BrowserBugs, I completely agree and would implement this immediately. My only concern is we have been trading for a good few years and have backlinks with anchored text like "photo booth hire surrey" looking at our homepage. Essentially now restructuring Surrey to a fresh page potentially could be quite damaging to its Google SERP rank (currently 2/3). Maybe this is something worth doing though for the greater good as the site will be layed out better and should avoid Google confusion. mmm 🤔 Thanks again Paul
  2. Hi BrowserBugs, Firstly many thanks for looking at it your a legend!. I can see what you are referring to. I don't understand why I appear to have two separate /lib or menus in the source code for the navigation menu or am i reading this incorrect. I only have the one menu structure. In relation to the architecture of the menu, our homepage unfortunately has always been our Surrey page and the business grew from there. Do you think it would be best from Googles interpretation that i simply don't have drop downs in the menu and just link to the Areas we cover page? or remove the counties Surrey, Sussex, Kent and London and just list the all towns? Thanks again buddy your the best ! Paul
  3. Hi there, I'm really hoping someone can help. Since building our site on Wordpress we have noticed images on our site are performing strangely within Google SERPS and im assuming its something to do with our build. We run a photo booth company in the UK. One of our search keywords are "photo booth hire Croydon". When we click on Google images we do see the images listed from the page https://myfunphotobooth.com/croydon-photo-booth-hire.html which is correct and when clicked they do go to that page. However as you will see form the picture where it should say our root domain or website name it states "photo booth hire Surrey". Could someone please help me diagnose this issue please. Warmest regards and thanks in advance Paul
  4. Yes I am doing, it’s a big step so far but as you say I don’t really want anything loading that isn’t needed.
  5. Well it seems I may have found the culprit. I disabled the Facebook responsive plugin and 105 of the 161 requests disappeared
  6. Thanks for all the comments guys. I’m still digging further into the issue as we speak. Any other suggestion please don’t hestitate to mention ? For what it’s worth I created a new test post and ran the figures and the requests were off the chart TIA Paul
  7. Thanks for input. I’m using. Plugin called duplicate post, which may be the cause. I’m using it to duplicate various pages which I’m modifying after for others geographical areas. I suspect on hindsight these may have been better created from scratch. Paul
  8. Thanks BrowserBugs. Similar to what I said above, would you be able to point me in the right direction to correct this or know if someone we could pay to do so
  9. Thx Fisicx, there is a gallery on the forth tab in the middle of the page. I’m a complete novice here, would you be able to point me in the right direction as to better optimise the site or know of someone we could pay to correct it?
  10. Hi guys, Im in the process of building our small company a new website via a Wordpress backend. Would anyone be able to point me in the right direction as to why every time I create a new landing page for a specific area the total page requests for all of our pages goes up. For instance I first created this page which used to have about 96 page requests: http://051.970.myftpupload.com/photo-booth-hire-cobham.html Then I duplicated that page a few times and customised the content specific for different geographical locations: http://051.970.myftpupload.com/photo-booth-hire-dorking.html However now both the new pages and one listed first went up to about 140 page requests. The only thing that’s different other than text is 4 images. Which is been handled by Foo Gallery’s plug-in Is this normal, as I’m concerned it’s going to spiral out of control as I have to create another 20 landing pages yet? On a side note, the page speed tests don’t look too bad but any advice on getting the best speed results would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance Doug
