  1. In the recent past, and this is obviously sweeping, Apple put the final nail in the coffin of Flash, and web publishing platforms like wordpress have become hugely popular. Minimal web design has become pretty much the norm (ecommerce excepted), but now with rock solid JS libraries, mobile first philosophy, evergreen browsers, components and services for more difficult backend stuff, websites are starting to change again. The new design styles require a considerably less linear approach, so who does the work? Currently the trend is for GDs and FEDs with a very clear split. How are either GDs specialising in web /digital or FEDs who currently have an untenable amount of coding to learn already, dealing with this?
