  1. Hi all, Just wondered if anyone could give me a hand on this basic site i've just created. Alpaka website is here The problem with the site is that when you view it on a higher than 1200x800 resolution it shows white space to the bottom and the right of the site. I want to try and get it so no matter what the resolution is stays in the same position (not stretches but stays in its correct position and size). Going lower on the resolution is fine, it just adds a scroll bar. I've tryed to set a min-height in the css for the body of the website but it doesn't seem to work. Im quite a novice when it comes to testing and sorting sites out for screen resolutions so any help would be greatly appreciated guys. Also give me your opinion on the design! Many thanks, croz27 ps. is there not a script that can solve this easily? surely with todays huge monitors there must be!
  2. ha! rant indeed but definitely took on board what your saying. i agree and i wouldn't ever use tables to create a site but that tables are for tables... just coding it up now - cheers for the advice. Been travelling and just getting back into the development side of things and just want to do it properly. thanks for the help.
  3. alrighty, thanks Wickham v helpful... just always want to develop using the best practice.
  4. thanks for the reply! not for this site but this is an example of what kind of tariff i need to do but with it tidyed a hell of alot! http://alpaka.com/frw_tariffs.htm i think divs may be to crowded for this kind of table so maybe a simple html is the way forward.. many thanks.
  5. Afternoon, I'm currently in the middle of a project and need to create a table for the pricing tariff of the hotel site. What is the best method to create a tariff table (trying to sway away from the word table as they are dead but best word to describe the visual) should i create a wrapped div, with seperate divs inside and make it as a list? or is there a better method? Cheers, croz27
