Thanks for your help and tips, Browser Bugs! After thinking it through, I think i'm going to get professional help designing a website, that gives me more flexibility. I like the templates that Squarespace have, but I have also heard how restrictive they are compared to say Wordpress sites. I completely get what you are saying, especially about image alt tags, etc. Thank you

Plenty of food for thought & I am glad you have given a very honest and upfront assessment of my, erm rather terrible creation ! So it seems I need to look somewhere to get this done for me. Is there any affordable solutions that can be recommended (not sure if appropriate to ask, so sorry in advance). Thank you fisicx for taking the time to give me great advice.

Thanks Timw. I was in the middle of looking at various different templates, hence why the site was unavailable for browsing. From a photography point of view, I chose Squarespace for ease of function and the clean looking templates. I clearly need to look closer at SEO though and how I can make it work for my site, as I don't have a whole heap of spare time to learn web design alongside my Photography.

Thanks for the initial feedback....Lot's to work on I guess & lot's to learn too. I assume Squarespace isn't a well regarded website builder for driving traffic to my site?

Hi guys, hope you are all good? I am by no means experienced in any sort of web design, but i'm keen to learn to help my Wedding Photography business. Can anyone advise me on my problem below? I have had my Squarespace site since March 2016 and have tried my best to get it ranked in google, but it doesn't appear in any SERP. I do feel there is something wrong with my site though, as my friend set up a free wix site two days ago and is already showing in results page, and yet I don't appear anywhere on any page. I notice also in search console that google has only indexed 2 out of my 14 pages and indexed only 45 out of 402 images. It goes onto to say in the index status that I have indexed 21 url's and 19 of those are blocked by robots. I seriously don't know what is going on with my site and it is becoming quite frustrating. It may well be that my S.E.O is really poor, but I have been following as many guides as possible and implementing keywords in content where I can. Can anyone shed any light on my problems before I need to look at something different other than Squarespace?
