Hi, I'm a student and I've been designing and coding websites for some time now - a good 4 years or so, but only recently started doing it on a freelance basis where I'm the one charging out my own work. I'm looking for some advice on how to go about deciding what to charge for a website, if anyone would please help me. Usually, I end up making up a figure, which is fairly cheap to get the job, but I shouldn't really go on like this. As an example, what would I charge for the below: Re-design of a fairly simple 5 page website with text and images, a navigation menu. Images and text would be provided to me, but the design would be completely brand new. The site also has one of those externally hosted "wizard" type e-commerce section where they sell a few small products. This part of the site would need to be "re-skinned" to tie in with the new website design. How much should I be charging for this type of work? Many thanks rmistry
