Line of text not hyperlinking properly
I am passing the details onto a panel of brokers, thus I am not providing any "Services" or even advice let alone goods. The network has been in operation for a while and the compliance officer has been working in insurance for a while, I very much doubt he's got it wrong but I'll pass the link on and see what he says.

Line of text not hyperlinking properly
The site does need some redesigning, I'm getting some advice on it via someone else. The contact details are on there- though not an address because I am working as a sole trader via an agent- the insurance broker network has a compliance officer and looked at it and said it's fully compliant, they keep an eye on FCA regulations.

Line of text not hyperlinking properly
It's hard coded and yes I put the line inside the form. For some reason I uploaded it again and it now seems to work as intended, so my original coding was correct, which is baffling, so problem solved.

Line of text not hyperlinking properly
Using the code qouted in the first post: >By clicking Get My Free Quote you agree to be contacted by telephone or email by an FCA authorised insurance firm and confirm that you have read <a href="http://healthcareins...and-conditions/">Terms & Conditions</a> and agreed to our </p> <a href="http://healthcareinsured.co.uk/privacy-policy/">Privacy Policy</a> </p> This is what is in the PHP file, I'm sure it requires just a minor adjustment.

Line of text not hyperlinking properly
I know that's where the link is. My question is about this specific bit of coding, and why the html is not linking to the new parts of the site correctly, not about the design in general, if I want a critique of general design I'll post in the other section which I may well do. Do you have any idea about the coding itself?

Line of text not hyperlinking properly
That's the point- the link is not working properly- do you have any comments on the actual coding and how it's meant to be correctly done? And yes the site is not yet for mobile/tablets- traffic at this stage will only be primarly targeted at Desktop (I am paying for PPC ads) but at a later stage a mobile version will be created. Are there more general comments on what else you fix on the site?

Line of text not hyperlinking properly
Hi everyone, I'm having difficulties getting a hyperlink to work properly. If you look at the form on my page- http://healthcareinsured.co.uk/ It cuts off at Privacy policy whereas the html I've tried to link in the Terms and Conditions as well, I assume the bit in between the two hyperlinks is not formatted properly? >By clicking Get My Free Quote you agree to be contacted by telephone or email by an FCA authorised insurance firm and confirm that you have read <a href="http://healthcareinsured.co.uk/terms-and-conditions/">Terms & Conditions</a> and agreed to our </p> <a href="http://healthcareinsured.co.uk/privacy-policy/">Privacy Policy</a> </p>

Integration of button/link that pushes down to meet form when pressed
Not quite, I want the button to push down along with the rest of the page so it meets the form. However I am thinking I will just remove the button altogether as I think it overcomplicates things.

Integration of button/link that pushes down to meet form when pressed
Dear all, I am trying to get a button/link integrated on my website that pushes down when clicked to meet a form on a website. My designer put together the idea, however mydeveloper is unsure how to proceed. The CMS we are using is Wordpress. The site is: http://healthcareinsured.co.uk/ The button/link I refer to is the "Get my free qoute" in the top right hand corner, just to the left of the menu link. My designer has suggested the following as a solution- >>Hmm possibly with javascript. Or a transform code on the button on click that would be where I would start. If it's not possible perhaps on button click the form could just have a border added to it? I have also attached the original design mockup and her instructions which explain how it is supposed to work and look when pressed >>PAGE 2 PDF: The second page of the pdf shows rollover or click states. For me so far the only clicks which will occur are in the first section. I thought it was useful to have a call to action button for the form as well as the form on the homepage in line with the menu navigation - if the user was to highlight or click the 'get my quote button' - top right page2 of the pdf, then the link would then appear as on page 3 of the pdf. On hovering or clicking on the blue / white menu button - top right page 2 of the pdf it will turn green / with blue text as on the page 3 of pdf On hovering or clicking on the get quote button inside the form (blue / white) on page 2 of the pdf the text will change to the same green as the form background to show users it's interactive as per page 1 of the pdf. Can anyone explain in detail how this would be integrated? Thanks in advance. WEBSITEMOCK-UP.pdf

Redesigning my site to make it convert much better
Yeah I'm aware the original designer used Bootstrap. I am planning on doing a separate mobile site- but not until after I fix the main site. One mobile designer who I spoke to said they would have to create a separate file structure when creating the mobile version- is this standard?

Redesigning my site to make it convert much better
Thanks for your comments. >>It's best to use structured headings on any page because people using assistive devices rely on them for navigation. If you don't want a heading visible you can always position it off screen so it's still there. What is the best way to position it offscreen?

Redesigning my site to make it convert much better
I'm gonna rewrite some of the paras anyway as I don't like some of the copy. Do you have any view on how the form, apart from merging fields physically should look to make it better? And/or choice of font?

Redesigning my site to make it convert much better
Yep that has confirmed my thoughts. Do you know if H1 tags have much effect on SEO etc if I remove them altogether? (not that I'm ranking for anything organically) Also my form- do you think i should cut off the top bit with the ribbon and CTA- I'm not sure if this helps at all and just clutters things up. I also am unsure about the font I have in the top half- it looks too informal- what do you think?

Redesigning my site to make it convert much better
Hi everyone, So I am currently on version 2 of my website, but I have been doing a lot of research on competitor sites pages and I think it needs still more work. I want it to be the absolute best it can be in terms of conversions. This is my site: http://healthcareinsured.co.uk ------------------------- This is my proposal -I think I should remove the block/gap at the top where the header text appears I had originally thought of making the H1 heading transparent though I think the bit the top is just distracting and looks ugly. -I think I have too many words around the left of the form and above the logos it looks cluttered- what do you think? Also I think I could pick better fonts for these words- any suggestions? -I want to maybe cut up the steps 1,2,3 Graphic, and place at it at top before the form itself near the heading, so the steps appear horizontally, lengthwise. -Regarding the form- I am wondering whether I should reshape it so it also cuts across horizontally, so wider but much less deep, rather than as it is as a giant block. I am also considering making a special version of the form which folds/unfolds (I have seen this on a competitor site and it looks really good) And then shift "we do the work" upwards to fill in the. -Move "people like you" and "about us" to separate pages completely via clickable links. -Move to the linked page sections right to the top: Home Why Health Insurance About Us FAQ's Terms and Conditions Contact Us Any thoughts on this & general comments about the site?
