Hi everyone, This is my first post so i hope you are able to help. I have been learning code for about 6 months and have a decent grasp on HTML, CSS and JS, I am also currently learning PHP. The problem I have is I have learnt the theory of these languages but struggle to put them into practice efficiently with a blank canvas, so I use templates as the base of practice designs, and when it comes to editing my skills are actually quite strong. My question is: What are the rules for using the edited templates I have as practice projects in a portfolio to attract prospective clients? Will they obstruct any sort of copyright if I state my name and the template creators in the footer? I am asking as I would like to make a bit of money with my new acquired skills to help pay to extend them, but would not want to have a negative effect on other designers or my possible clients. I look forward to hearing your advice.
