Hi all. I am working on a project that needs to do some image registration and it’s giving me quite a hard time. I was wondering if anyone here might be familiar with different software of techniques? Currently I am working with ImageJ and the TurboReg plug-in, which is medical image registration software. Not really what I need, but it’s the best I’ve found so far. To break down the project real simply, I am trying to integrate an image of a body of water into Google Maps. So, say you have Google Maps open and there is a lake in the middle of it. I will have an image that is the same shape as that lake (representing water temperature for example) but it won’t fit right in. I want to register this image to the Google Map so that it will be the exact size and fit right in there seamlessly. Hopefully I explained this clearly. Anyone have any advice? Thanks! Jon

Hello, I am looking to set up some sort of versioning system for my companies website since we now have multiple people working on the site simultaneously. The only versioning system I have ever really been familiar with is cvs which is obviously a resource for software development more then web development. I am looking for a piece of software then can easily accomplish the same thing, but is based towards websites and web development. Does anyone know of any good software that can get this job done? Hi everyone! I suppose an introduction is always the best start! My name is John, I live just outside of NYC. I enjoy / have experience with web development including programming and design. I am a photographer on my free time and do a lot of freelance web and graphic design. I'm just finishing up with my degree in computer science/applied mathematics. I work for a company doing back end programming on their "web team" for their e-commerce website. I found this forum and it really grabbed me, so I figured it's time to sign up and make some friends!
