  1. Thanks for your help so far guys. I am taking the designer into the clients on Wednesday and will be looking at the developers tools screen to see what is happening. I am also thinking of updating my terms and conditions to say something like ... we test all sites work on multiple browsers, desktop and mobile devices to ensure they display and function correctly. However we do not guarantee or support individual desktop or mobile devices that cannot load the site correctly once our tests confirm it works properly. Grammar and wording needs hammering out but I am sure you get the idea. will update this post if and when we crack it. B
  2. I was thinking the same however the problem only seems to show on our site
  3. Hiya Its a bit tricky getting access to the clients machine One of the images is a little blurred but the other really shows the problem ... big blue box behind the yellow contact form

  5. Hi Guys, I am having a problem with a new site displaying properly in IE 11. Here is the background. We have built a site using Wordpress called www.acar4all.co.uk. The site works and displays well on every machine and browser we have in house plus on friends and colleagues machines. However when displaying on the clients Windows 10 machine using IE 11 blue boxes appear as if something has been highlighted. The puzzling part! We cannot replicate the same issue on other similar websites on the same machine. However when we view the site using IE 11 on our machines it works fine. I have added a couple of images showing the blue boxes. We tried the old compatibility view fix, it got rid of the blue boxes but did not display elements on the page properly. Anyone???? BernardR
  6. Hi Chaps I am new to the forum. My name is Bernard and I own a small agency that does branding, video and web design. I am not a web designer myself but work with freelancers (always on the look out for good people). I am here to learn and network. Bernard
