One thing I have found as a freelancer is how lonely and how out of the loop you can get. I work in schools as a network admin mon-wed and its nice having people around, I know a few other network managers and I'm a member of a decent forum that I can find stuff out on quite easily. We also meet up at BETT which is like a trade show for technology in education which I find to be the highlight of the year... I probably learn more in that day then the rest put together. I have recently been watching some of the WPcamps or what they are called on youtube which look to be very good, is there anything similar to those in the north of England. Cheers

Hi All, Just joined the forums, I have a background in web dev but recently due to circumstances have moved into networking and support rolls. I look after two schools at the beginning of the week and then freelance at other times. I am finding the freelancing a bit lonely at times, having other people to bounce ideas of or ask for help.
