Hello guys, My name is Damian and I am making my first steps into learning web development. I am at a very early stage, gathering information and reading material as well as working out the best ways to learn (Online training sites, tutorials etc). I keep reading that the best way to learn is to actually get practising immediately as I go, which is exactly how I learn best but I just wanted to get some information regarding hardware and software needed so I have all I need to begin building dummy/practise websites. I am currently just using my Dell Windows 7 Laptop and wondered whether i would be better buying a PC or is the Laptop adequate? Also do I need any particular software to build the websites on? I am truly a beginner so any help or advice in this area would be greatly appreciated. If you experienced guys have any other info or advice that you feel may be of interest then I would be happy to hear from you. Many thanks. Damian
