Feedback wanted for website design
Hi! Running a business in Norway specialzed on electric vehicles. Right now, we mainly sell electric unicycles. We recently redesigned our website, and figured it would be nice with some feedback on it. Note: The site is aimed at the norwegian market, and the language is therefor norwegian. Here´s the site - Thanks in advance for any feedback you might have!

Preparing to launch a new project. Any feedback highly appreciated!
dap: Thanks! That's a good tip. Figured out I could just implement this right away. rbrtsmith: Thanks! Any location can be explored already. We've just not implemented that part. But it'll come, for sure. Also a good tip with the box height. Went ahead and implemented it right away. No posts will contain more than 60 characters, so figured out a min-height on the content part would do the job. Also had a look at your grid system. It looks really nice. However, grids are not a problem within this project right now. But will concider using it in some future project. Nice work! dp8: I'm not sure I know what you mean by the misaligned menu. Which screen size are you referencing to here? This is anyway a kind of temporary design that's out there now, and another is already designed. So will most likely do more pixel tweaking once we're implementing that one. But good to see people pay attention to details like this.

Thanks! That's a really good point. I believe it might be a bit different later on, if we succeed to get more content. But perhaps we should try to make some suggestions on what to do next, if there's no content near you?

Preparing to launch a new project. Any feedback highly appreciated!
Hi all! Been working on a spare time project for quite some time now. It's still work in process, and the site will most likely be looking a bit different within the next weeks, because of the design we plan to implement (and the functionality we haven't yet implemented). The concept: A place where you can rent out your things, or rent things you need from people nearby. Our goal: To make renting things as easy as possible. Make it as easy as possible to discover things to rent. Have a look, and let us know your thoughts! Any type of feedback is considered useful. Thanks in advance!

In the very beginning of a launch (a social map)
Hi there, and thanks for your feedback! The idea is to create a really good way of filtering the data stored to any location. Hopefully we will also be able to make iOS and Android apps too, if enough people starts to use the site/app.

Hi James! The instagrams are correct. If the data on Instagram are correct in all cases, is another issue.

In the very beginning of a launch (a social map)
It´s been a while now, and we´ve redesigned the inside of the app quite dramatically. You can now also use round.io to browse Instagram. And more will come soon!

In the very beginning of a launch (a social map)
We really hope to get it into a state where we can promote it in a not too long timeframe, for sure. We also plan to use Phonegap or similar (at least for a start), in order to be able to release it to both iOS and Android. I think this will be a very critical thing, since push notifications will be a very central part of the application. Hopefully, people will find it both useful and fun and start to use it frequently.

In the very beginning of a launch (a social map)
Hey! Thanks a ton! Really happy to hear. We´re currently working with search, hashtags, @replies and image uploads. When we´ve done that, we will make a video explaining the concept, and promote it on the front page. We´ll also need a "tour", for new users. Hopefully, we´re not too far away in a month or two. But we hope beta testing will help us find out how to further develop the site.

I´ll notify this thread when we´ve added soclal signup. Is the registration today (three required fields) really to hard to get any feedback?

In the very beginning of a launch (a social map)
Hi there, web design people! Me and a friend have been working on a really interesting side project for about two years now. We´re not too far away from releasing the project into public, so we thought it would be really cool to let some more people in, in order to get some useful feedback before we start to promote the site and concider to make any kind of business out of it. The site is basically a social map, where you place yourself on a map as a marker and then select a radius. Everything written within your specified radius will then appear under the map. You can place and drag the marker wherever you want, so it´s fully possible to check out what´s going on in Japan, even though you live in England. Tap posts in order to expand them. You can reply and vote, like you do on reddit (and other networking sites). But everything is attached to a map (and not venues), which is kind of the key concept. The front page isn´t made yet (there will be a video explaining the concept there), and there are no signup through fb/twitter/g+ yet. But if somebody bother the registration, we would really appreciate some feedback! I know there are some bugs present (especially in Android) at the moment, but we´re working on it. Here´s the site -> http://round.io - It would be really awesome to see you there! For those who doesn´t bother with the registration; Here´s approximately how the app looks on a mobile device. PS! Search and filters are also coming up soon, in order for you to get more spesific queries. The whole thing is made mobile first, and are optimized for mobile and tablet browsers more than desktop at the moment. Apps for Android and iOS are in the pipeline as well, so stuff like push notifications and better positioning options will be made possible. Thanks a ton for any kind of feedback!

OG tags
Place og:tags within the head section, after the rest of your meta tags. Use both link rel="image_src" and og:image.

Hi! I´m Baard
Hi everybody! I´m Baard, born in 1980, living in Oslo, Norway. I love the web and started doing web development somewhere around 2001. I´ve done web professionally for about ten years now. I mainly do frontend stuff like js/scss, but also love postgres, mongodb, and write stuff in php, node and others. I´m mainly joining Webdesignerforum.co.uk to get inspiration and feedback for my latest app I´ve been working on the last two years, roundio.
