I recently had a couple of days off to build a site for my 10 year old son who's a budding magician - he is very creative and has loads of great ideas. I set him the task of thinking up anything he wanted in a website. He doesn't know about responsive layouts, or what is and isn't possible, he just let his creativity and imagination run riot. Building the site reminded me that having built hundreds of websites, too much of my time is spent thinking about google and what they recommend for SEO, keywords, simple layouts etc etc. I know it's not possible to have such freedom all the time and this is certainly not suitable for 99% of clients, but it was good to see what an uninfluenced mind would come up with.
