so a friend of mine was visiting from the uk, i'm in the us , and she was flabbergasted at the proliferation of various eateries offerings of pumpkin spiced what-have-yous, coffees, muffins, cookies, icecream, ect., which was/is so common as to be expected by me to the point of not noticing it because its fall, that means its pumpkin spice weather(this sentence needs work)
so, my question to you all is;
is the seasonal love of pumpkin spice, which to be honest is really just nutmeg and cinnamon, an American thing? i know that globally, pumpkin curry is more popular than pumpkin pie, but we are basically of the same stock... right?
