I thought when making a Web 2.0 banner usually it would be rounded? And to make it appear rounded after editing/making its then saved as .Gif not Jpeg(Save for Web to reduce quality of image)? You'd usually use illustrator to create ur banners? How? Thanks.

Hello from Malaysia. My name is Chris and I'm a beginner in Graphics Designing. I also have a passion for photography as i have my Canon 450D DSLR as my friend. What brought me interest in joining this forum is because i want to be a graphics designer in the future. Hello, I'm sorry if i haven't introed myself anywhere but i'll do it here in collaboration with my topic. My name is Chris and i'm 16 years old,learning graphics Designing as for it is my dream. I had no formal training. My level of designing is quite low and i need help and advise. Anyways i wanna cut to the chase. I'm the lead graphics Designer for my schools website. And i was wondering if anyone could give me any ideas and tips on creating a web 2.0 banner with just the school logo. Thx in advance!
