  1. Hi Lyndsey, I guess you're too busy. I'd be pleased if you could contact me some time, so that I can send you the codes. Thanks very much.
  2. Hello! My friend's helping me with building a website. (A couple of weeks ago, I asked another question about it, here.) Now, I have another problem: My items are listed in the grid-view on my page. For these items in the grid-view I want the item title -but only the very first line- to be displayed on the page. (My longest title takes 4 lines for some items.) And when mouse is hovered over on this first line, I want the rest of the title to expand. How can I do it? I want to show the codes for the site but it is said that, it is very hard and confusing on JsFiddler for one to read them. This is the easiest way I could find to explain my problem. In fact, it is much worse but I'm afraid of not-succeeding to explain it well. If someone could advise, it'll be more than great! And if someone asks me more about the rest, it's greater than more than great! Thanks.
  3. Hello Lyndsey, It's me... again! Is there an easier way that I could show you the codes without using the JsFiddler? (For as you've said, there -really- is so much code. And I don't want to bother you with it once more.) I know it's not been weeks over my last post -in which I said that I could have some other questions- but I needed to request help for some other thing. I'm not sure and don't want to violate the forum rules, and therefore I don't write my e-mail and don't request yours. Please let me know if you could think some other way for me to reach you. (I tried your twitter account as written in your profile but could not get a response. And I cannot think another way.) Sorry for this inconvenience and for this out-of-topic post of mine. Sincere regards and many thanks.
  4. Hello Lyndsey, It seems -for the time being- that my problem is solved! Thank you very much! Two more things: Is it possible if you could delete your JsFiddle you've sent to me (the link in your previous message), completely on the JsFiddle site? Can I ask another question to you in the following weeks (maybe)?
  5. Hi, Lyndsey! Did you have time to check the JsFiddle I sent you the links of? Did you see what I meant in my question? Thanks.
  6. Dear Lyndsey, I just have saved the things (the html and the css codes) as you've instructed in your last message. (I haven't included the js codes: For when I've added these in the relevant panel and wtried to run it, there appeared an error message in the result panel.) Please let me know if I'm missing something and if you need more information. The first one is here. The second one is here. Thanks for all your efforts. Ismail
  7. Hey, Lyndsey! I think I can invite you to check the codes on jsfiddle if you could send me your user name on that site. I can't say I've totally understood the fiddle thing but I can copy and paste all the necessart css and source file on it to see the result. Would it be OK for you? Thanks.
  8. Hey, Lyndsey! I can send you some code but since I am not so good in this code things, I don't know if I'll be able to send the correct stuff. Is there a way I could send them privately? I'm not so sure my friend would be OK with sending her codes without her permission on a forum page. I see these tabs on one page I'm curious about: Source code main.css mutual.css default.css dropdown.css and goes on. Do you need them all? Thanks very much.
  9. Hello, again! I noticed that my links would be working only by signing in with the G account. So, I decided to upload the images. In the images, what I'm trying to explain will be seen better. (As you'd see, the first row is higher (33px) than the other 3 rows (29px) under it. I want them to be identical but cannot succeed.) @Lyndsey, unfortunately the links you've sent could not help me solve my problem. But I appreciate your kind response, thanks very much. Thanks!
  10. Thanks for the quick response Lyndsey, I'll let you know about the result.
  11. Hi! A friend of mine is helping me with building a website. But we got stuck at some point. I need different types of the same tables which would be used for different purposes on the website. I'm using one on the main page (the "First one", below), another two in the item pages (for list and grid views. The "Second one", below is for the grid view.) And a final one for the item's detail page. My friend is the one who knows about the CSS and the codes and she says it is easier for her to make a table with codes rather than the built in table maker in the Dreamweaver. This way, she says, it is easier for her to tailor the design upon my wants and wishes. Everything was OK until what we saw while previewing the result. The height of the table is 124px. There are 4 blocks of boxes which are separated by 1px lines. Each of the 4 blocks should have 31px height. But at the end, when previewed on the browsers, the uppermost box is 33px and the 3 boxes below that are 29px. Do you think we are missing something? If so, where? Or what do you think we are missing? I'd appreciate it very much if someone could take his/her time to check it. Below are the links to the images and the relevant codes. If other codes, etc. is necessary, please ask and I will be pleased to help. Thanks everyone in advance. (Please let me know if I posted this in a wrong page. I just saw that there's also a CSS page in the forum.) First one: .FiyatKategoriler_kutular_home{ width:267px; float:left; margin:0; padding:0; margin-top:10px; overflow:hidden; text-align:left; height:124px; background-color:#999; } Second one: .FiyatKategoriler_kutular_grid{ width:203px; float:left; margin:0; padding:0; margin-top:10px; overflow:hidden; text-align:left; height:124px; background-color:#999; }
