Howdily doodily fellow webberoonies I don't actually like Ned Flanders that much, or watch The Simpsons much either - that greeting just sort of... came out... moving on. I'm Simon, 24, web developer and designer of many years currently looking for a job in front-end web development having completed a course in something totally unrelated to web development. But shhhh, don't tell the interviewer that! I've been looking to get involved with a web development community and seems I've found one; a while ago I did attempt to kick start my own discussion forum but, like most start-up forums, it flopped after a month or so. Never mind, we persevere and here I am. I've created quite a number of websites over the years, but more recently I've been channeling my skills towards design rather than development, which isn't a good thing since I need to refresh my JavaScript skills to get a job. As much as I'd like to work back-end, I've naturally been studying as a front-end developer since mid-teens; it never occurred to me there was literally a distinction between the two professionally speaking, I just enjoyed designing and basic HTML and CSS. Plus I most enjoy making things look good, especially in this day and age with Web 3.0 on the way and whatnot. Anyway, I look forward to meeting the regulars and offering my help to rookies with any troubles they have. - Simon
