  1. The example site you gave is using javascript to redirect users to another page, you can use JotForm to build something similar and then embed the form codes into your Joomla site, makes it much easier than coding it yourself. Go to www.jotform.com then on the form builder interface click on Form Tools and drag out a drop-down box and click on the green arrows button named Condition. Choose the option "Change Thank You URL after submission" then select the field and options you want and the URL you want to redirect users to after options are selected. Note that you will need to put in the submit button as well in order for this condition to work, you can try getting in touch with JotForm on their forum is they are able to support the condition even without the submit button, but as for now just have to make do with it.
  2. Have been using it for over a week and it seems pretty good for me on my vista pc compare to internet explorer which is way too slow, overall firefox satisfy me but one thing I don't like is that when opening a new tab in firefox you have to right click on the current bar and select new tab on by just double clicking on the empty space beside the current bar which most people might not notice this as internet explorer only needs to click once on the small box at the side but since firefox is in beta version now, lets see when the official completed version launch how will it be like lol.....

Hi like what bluedreamer had said different browser handle it in different ways so there might not be any way to remove the scroll bar but of course you can still ask around and might get an answer to your question and may I know which browser are you using? and yes there is other programming language that you can use to create a form like visual basic or java.
  4. Hiya dropping by to give you some advise on your design If you're going into doing css, I suggest you create an xhtml file and link to the css style sheet on another file so as to make things easier to navigate around as if you have too much 2 different coding cramp together it might look confusing. As for the background you might want to change the color or perhaps use an image as a background which might look nice while also adding in a simple menu bar on the top and categorize your contents into each menu option like for example the brands can be allocated into one menu option and adding more pictures of the products and adding more details. Lastly remember to include the "copyright ©" notice at the bottom of your design on every page.
