    If you have the money, i would go for the tools GIMP and Sublime Text 2. The reason why i said if you have the money is because Sublime costs. I can't remember exactly but it is worth it! Makes coding more visual and easier to understand. It keeps me motivated as well with a slick black background and colorful text (tags ect)
