  2. Brilliant, thank you. Weird the way it didn't show up before but have fixed it now.
  3. Hi there Sorry to resurrect this thread but I'm still finding I have a problem with the background image having a solid black line above it. It doesn't seem to be part of the image - if I load it into powerpoint there is no border. Could my very inexpert coding have created it somehow? w ww. ebta. co. uk (sorry, it won't let me post a proper link) Many thanks again Catherine
  4. That's great, thank you. Need to look into the border issue a bit more but the two coding things are fixed. (Apologies for lack of active link - I thought I'd read somewhere that newcomers were not supposed to use them, it did sound a bit impractical!)

  7. Hi there I've just joined this forum in the hope that someone can answer a couple of, no doubt, very basic questions, please..... (And big apologies if I'm inadvertently doing this in the wrong place or breaking any rules etc...) I'm in the process of building a site, the bulk of which has been done for me and I'm just putting on the finishing touches and adding content. It's at ebta. co. uk I'm coming up against two problems I can't find a fix to: 1) The text runs right up to the border on the right-hand side. Am I right in saying I need to add a white spacer image to prevent this? I've tried doing so and it doesn't seem to help. Whereabouts in the code do I put it and how? 2) Despite trying to anchor the background image to the top, it seems to migrate downwards with increasing amounts of text on the page. When it does so, it also puts a black line along the top of the image. How do I keep the image at the top and get rid of the horizontal line? Many thanks in advance for any help.... Catherine
