I'm a newbie to PHP and have no knowledge at all. I am looking for a book to teach myself PHP that is easy to follow and understand. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance
  3. They are showing up fine on my computer. I would sort out your background tho, (purple) it doesn't fill the wholce page. Use the following code in your style sheet (css) to reset the margins and padding, this solves the issue. /* Resetting the borders, margins and padding on all items, then setting up font sizes ***********************/ * { margin: 0; padding: 0; text-decoration: none; font-size: 100%; outline: none; } code, kbd, samp, pre, tt, var, textarea, input, select, isindex { font: inherit; font-size: 1em; font-family:inherit; } body, div, h1, h2, h3, h4, p, dl, dt, dd, img, form, fieldset, blockquote { margin: 0px; padding: 0px; border: 0px; } Also I would lose some of the space at ther bottom of the page unless you are planning to add text or something there. It is annoying having to scroll down to find that there is nothing there.
  4. Thanks forr all your comments. I have found this forum very helpful as I am fairly new to this and still learning. No need for anyone to appoligise for being too harsh........ I posted the link for feedback and I got feedback. If no body points out errors or things that don't work then I would be able to improve my skills so I welcome all feedback. Thanks again.
  5. Thanks for your comments. As I said I am fairly new to this and still learning so all help and advice has been gratefully accepted. Regarding the Register page....... it is a section I have created with photo galleries of my 2 year old son. Close family and friends have been issued with a username and password to view this section. For obvious reasons access is not open to all.
